We are looking for a Field Application Engineering Manager, to join our Taiwan team. You will provide occasional pre-sales support and customer events support. Remote tools, connections, and our R&D and manufacturing experts are at your disposal. This position provides insight into new emerging technologies for global electronics and automotive products years before publishing. If you are passionate about complex technical problems and want to provide a great customer experience, you might be the right person for our team.

Field Application Engineering Manager, will support our sales in product-related technical topics and in increasing sales according to company strategy and sales targets. You will be solving customers’ technical problems and discussing about the solutions and deepening the customer’s relationships. Hired person will identify new product potentials and communicate them to Okmetic R&D. You will also support our communications and marketing teams in product marketing material creation.

What we think is needed to thrive in this role?

We expect you to have a technical degree e.g. in electrical or materials engineering, physics or chemistry and active, independent, and possess a result-oriented working attitude. We hope you have experience in the field of semiconductors, MEMS, industrial environment, and customer interface. We hope you have native level China, fluent English, good presentation and collaboration skills and that you are capable to present data to stakeholders.
